Personvernerklæring for helseopplysninger (USA)

Denne erklæringen gjelder brukere i USA. Den engelske versjonen nedenfor er den gjeldende teksten.
What this notice covers
This notice describes how MaritimMatch handles consumer health data of US users, in addition to our Privacy Policy. It is provided to meet US consumer-health-data requirements such as Washington's My Health My Data Act.
What health data we collect
Only what you choose to upload: your maritime medical fitness certificate, together with its issue/expiry dates and validity status. We do not collect other health information and we do not infer health data about you.
Why, and the legal basis — your consent
We collect and store this data only after you give explicit, separate opt-in consent, solely so you can keep the certificate in your account and, if you separately choose, share it with employers. Neither collection nor sharing happens without your consent, and each consent is versioned and logged.
How it is shared
By default it is private and visible only to you. It is never sold and never used for advertising. It is disclosed to an employer only when you actively turn sharing on, and only to approved, paying shipping companies or manning agencies that can already see your profile.
Our processors (Supabase for storage, Vercel for hosting) process it on our behalf under contract. We do not share it with any other third parties.
Your rights — withdraw and delete
You can withdraw storage or sharing consent at any time from your account. Withdrawing sharing stops new access immediately (a view link already issued may work for up to 60 seconds). Withdrawing storage deletes the document.
You can also access and request deletion by contacting us. We honor these rights for all US users and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Minors
Health-certificate features for a user below the age of majority require verifiable parent or guardian consent.
